Global Wedding Planners Showcase Their Best Table Designs For Trkiyes 100Th Anniversary
Istanbul’s Hilton Bosphorus Hotel will host the inaugural Table Design Exhibition – Celebrate Art & Creativity from October 31 to November 2, 2023. This unique event brings together nine internationally renowned event and wedding planners to showcase their exceptional design skills. The exhibition is a tribute to Türkiye’s 100th anniversary and promises to be an unforgettable experience for art and creativity enthusiasts.
Each of the participating designers will have a distinct perspective to share, from Istanbul’s paradise-like settings to its blossoming symphonies, secret gardens, and vibrant colors. The event will feature a diverse range of designs, including those by Gideon Hermosa, Eddie Zaratsian, Ghada Blanco, Colin Cowie, Arturo De Noriega, Tomas De Bruyne, Edgardo Zamora, Sarah Young, and Nadia Duran.

The Theme: Türkiye’s 100th Anniversary
As the 2nd edition of the exhibition approaches, it coincides with Türkiye’s milestone 100th anniversary celebration on October 29. To commemorate this momentous occasion, designers are crafting unique table designs that harmoniously blend Türkiye’s rich cultural heritage and aesthetics with their signature styles.
This fusion will result in an extraordinary visual experience, showcasing innovative tablescaping techniques that marry floral arrangements, crockery, candles, textiles, and more to create a captivating atmosphere for dinner parties and beyond. With weddings being no exception, the exhibition promises to be a treasure trove of inspiration, as couples can expect to discover creative table settings that have the power to transform any venue and leave a lasting impression.

This year’s Table Design Exhibition — Celebrate Art & Creativity promises to be a star-studded affair, with an impressive lineup of designers participating in the October 31 – November 2, 2023 event. The roster boasts some heavy-hitting names, including David Beahm, who has had the privilege of designing events for A-list celebrities like Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas. Toni Breiss also makes the cut, having worked on high-profile projects such as Tiffany Trump’s wedding.
Other notable designers on the list include Frieha Altaf from Pakistan, Majeda Kassir Bisharat from the Middle East, and Hella Huizinga from the Netherlands. The international contingent is rounded out by Mr. Froonck from Germany, Percy Sales and Sumant Jayakrishnan from India, and Brian Worley, who has had experience working on events for major awards like the Teen Choice Awards and the Grammy Awards.
Program and Tickets
The upcoming three-day event will be an immersive experience, featuring panels, workshops, networking sessions, themed parties, gastronomic experiences, and tours around Istanbul. The festivities will kick off on October 31st with a black-tie opening ceremony, where exhibitors, sponsors, VIP guests, and celebrity designers will mingle. The exhibition area will be open to the public from 9:30 A. M. to 7:00 P. M.
on November 1 and 2, offering attendees a chance to engage with panel discussions, tours, and other activities. A highlight of the event will be the Gala Dinner at the Peninsula Hotel on November 1, followed by a Farewell Party at the Sarnıç Restaurant, a unique fine dining spot located inside a 1,500-year-old cistern, on November 2. To enhance the experience, three ticket packages are available: Silver, Bronze, and Platinum.
The Silver Package includes access to the opening ceremony, exhibition area, panels, and special Istanbul tours, as well as attendance at the Gala Night on November 1. The Bronze Package offers similar perks, but with a choice of attending the Istanbul tour on either November 1 or 2. The Platinum Package grants access to all events, including the opening ceremony, exhibition area, panels, and Istanbul tours on both days, plus attendance at the Gala Night and Farewell Party.
Additionally, Workshop Tickets allow attendees to participate in their chosen workshop, while Competition Tickets enable guests to showcase their table design skills.
