The wedding theme was born from an unexpected place – the darker side of Disney. Zahra’s affection for Disney princesses served as the starting point, but she yearned to break free from traditional fairy tales. The couple found inspiration in Maleficent, bringing a hauntingly beautiful atmosphere to their celebration that distinguished it from others.
Planning The Wedding
The wedding of a lifetime took an extraordinary 18 months to plan. As the big day approached, our team also had the privilege of organizing Zahra’s Bridal Shower and Henna ceremony, infusing the experience with even more excitement and joy. The venue setup was nothing short of impressive, requiring the dedication of over 40 staff members who worked tirelessly for an astonishing 12 hours to ensure every detail was meticulously executed for the couple’s special day.

The Plaza Ballroom proved to be an inspired choice for Zahra and Ali’s special day. Its dramatic gothic architecture created a captivating backdrop for the couple’s distinct cultural theme, beautifully marrying their Afghan heritage with modern elegance. The guest list of 360 friends and family members added an undeniable sense of warmth and joy to the grand celebration, making it a truly unforgettable experience.
