A Week In The Life Of Wedded Wonderland With An Alfa Romeo Guilietta
At Wedded Wonderland, we love sharing the experiences that shape our brand. To give you a glimpse into our world, we decided to document our travels in our new company car, an Alfa Romeo Giulietta, and record the highlights from each adventure.
Monday, 6 July
At 10:30am, Katia, our Communications Manager, embarked on a mission in the iconic red WW mobile (aptly nicknamed the ‘red WW mobile’) to Steven Khalil, where she was fitted for a stunning gown to wear at our highly anticipated Jeff Leatham media event on Thursday evening. As excitement builds up, we can’t wait to see her look fabulous on the night!
Meanwhile, Editor Heather took a break from work and headed over to Substation, a local favourite café, to indulge in a scrumptious grilled pumpkin and goat’s cheese salad at 12:30pm.
Tuesday, 7 July
Tsoler, our Events Assistant, embarked on a mission to collect two exquisite gowns from Helen Rodrigues in Neutral Bay for Wedded Wonderland’s winter-themed runway show on Thursday evening. The Alfa Romeo’s trunk was soon overflowing with intricate, embellished, and heavily beaded masterpieces courtesy of renowned designers Inbal Dror and Jenny Packham. Later that day, at 3:00 pm, the team prepared for Jeff Leatham’s arrival from Paris to host Wedded Wonderland’s ICE Event.
As a token of appreciation, they filled the Alfa Romeo with gifts for Jeff, including fresh snacks, organic Australian wine, luxury ties, and cufflinks to keep him refreshed throughout his visit.
Wednesday, 8 July
It’s 7:00am and Heather, the editor, is already on the move. She’s picked up a car full of beautiful flowers – orchids, calla lilies, and roses – along with some stunning Waterford Crystal vases (Fleurology, naturally) for Jeff’s appearance on Channel 7’s The Morning Show. Once the florals are delivered to the studio, Heather heads back out to pick up Jeff from The Langham Sydney and help get the set ready for his chat with Larry and Kylie.
After a successful segment on The Morning Show, Heather and Jeff head back to The Langham Sydney at 10:30am to prepare for some press interviews with Cosmo Bride magazine and PopSugar. It’s a busy morning of talking flowers and love! By 12:30pm, the Alfa Romeo has taken them to Manta Restaurant and Bar, where they meet Wedded Wonderland’s Director, Wendy, over lunch. The menu features fresh seafood and wine – just what Jeff and Heather need after a whirlwind morning.
As lunch wraps up, Jeff, Heather, and Wendy head to The InterContinental Sydney Double Bay to check out the space for an upcoming floral styling seminar and exclusive press and celebrity dinner event. This will be Jeff’s hosting gig, bringing together some of the industry’s top florists and celebrities alike.
Thursday, 9 July
Jeff’s floral styling seminar takes over the morning as he drives his Alfa Romeo through Sydney’s CBD, collecting flowers, desserts and last-minute essentials. As the big Wedded Wonderland press event approaches, the car is loaded up with an array of blooms and 25 show-stopping gowns.
The team arrives at the venue to set up, using the Alfa’s ease of navigation to zip through Double Bay’s winding streets, picking up snacks, nude underwear for the models, and much-needed caffeine and energy boosts. Later that night, as the event wraps up, the Wedded Wonderland crew begins loading the Giulietta with the stunning gowns. Despite its compact size, this little car packs a punch, comfortably accommodating six wedding dresses in its spacious backseat.
Friday, 10 July
As the morning sun rises over the horizon, the Wedded Wonderland team awakens refreshed and revitalized after a well-deserved sleep in. Following a late breakfast at Bar Indigo, they hop into their trusty Alfa Romeo and embark on the scenic drive back to their Alexandria office, filled with excitement for the day ahead.
Meanwhile, car enthusiasts are sure to be thrilled to learn that the stylish Guiletta is now available for purchase from $29,500 drive-away.
