This Ultra-Chic Wedding Featured A Balloon Photoshoot
Tommy’s proposal to Justine was a well-planned event that began with the purchase of the engagement ring. Little did Justine know, her father played a crucial role in the romantic surprise. After Tommy finally found the perfect ring, he decided to take matters into his own hands and ask for permission from Justine’s father. The father was scheduled to leave the following day and wanted to be present during the proposal.
Tommy cleverly collaborated with him to get Justine out of the house and whisk her away to their favorite restaurant, where the surprise awaited.
How It Went Down…
As soon as the door swung open, something didn’t sit right with me. His reputation for being unable to keep a secret preceded him, and my curiosity got the better of me. The entire drive was spent extracting every detail from him, and I could sense the inevitable proposal looming on the horizon. Just as I had expected, he finally blurted out ‘Will you marry me?’ My heart skipped a beat, and with a sense of satisfaction, I replied with an enthusiastic yes!
Looking back, it’s clear that everything fell into place just the way it was meant to – no regrets whatsoever!
The Wedding
The day unfolded with pure magic! Not a single moment would we alter if given the chance. The best man’s solemn expression told its own story as he struggled to contain his emotions throughout my walk down the aisle. As it turned out, I was the one who botched the vows, replacing ‘ring’ with ‘wing’. Despite our nerves, our speeches, including those of the best man and father of the groom, left a lasting impression on our guests.
And to top it all off, we surprised everyone with a dazzlingly choreographed wedding dance – an unforgettable highlight of the day.
The Most Unique Aspect
Just a few days prior to our engagement party, I woke up with an idea that would become a defining moment in our celebration: balloons! As part of the festivities, we had planned to take a romantic photo shoot together. Specifically, my fiancé was going to lift me up and we’d be surrounded by these vibrant, floating orbs. We absolutely adored the final product that we decided to recreate it for our wedding day as well.
In fact, we’ve even made a promise to ourselves to continue this balloon tradition at future milestones in our lives, like when we have children or mark other significant events. There’s something so endearing and joyful about balloons, isn’t there? They have an undeniable ability to bring smiles to people’s faces and create lasting memories!
Advice From The Bride
Looking back on the day, it’s clear that nothing would have changed our minds about what made it so special. If we could go back in time, though, I think Justine would tell her past self to relax a bit more and trust that everything would fall into place. The memories they’ve shared as newlyweds are truly treasured.
