Brooke And Gabriels Monday Wedding Is The Perfect Start To The Week

Brooke and Gabriel, a Covid couple, finally exchanged vows in December after three rescheduled attempts. Opting for an unconventional weekday celebration at The Grand Hyatt in Melbourne, their special day was filled with magic, laughter, and unbridled joy. Despite the initial postponements, the couple’s big day exceeded their expectations.

When asked about their memorable moments, Brooke and Gabriel shared stories of how they met, the proposal that sealed their love, and the highlights of their wedding celebration.

How did you meet?

It was a chance encounter that led to the start of something special. While I was recovering from an injury sustained during my trip, Gabriel reached out to check in on me. Once I returned home, he persisted in wanting to see me for two months before we finally met up. The spark was undeniable – it was as if time stood still when we saw each other again. Fast-forward a few dates, and Gabriel asked me to be his girlfriend, marking the beginning of our inseparable journey together.

Describe the moment he proposed:

As Gab nervously arranged a dinner at the gardens, I sensed something was amiss. This wasn’t typical behavior for him, and my intuition was screaming that something special was brewing. Although I couldn’t spot a ring box in his pocket, I had a feeling that this night would be unlike any other. Little did I know, he had secretly stashed the engagement ring in the car, waiting for the perfect moment to pop the question.

And then, just as we arrived at the picturesque setting, a photographer emerged from behind a bed of vibrant red roses, bearing a sign that read ‘Marry Me’. The atmosphere was electric, and I was utterly swept away by the romance and magic of it all.

Describe the wedding in a few paragraphs: What was the best moment of the night?

After multiple COVID-related postponements, we finally tied the knot on a Monday – a day many would deem unremarkable for celebrations. Yet, we didn’t let that deter us from having the time of our lives. As it turned out, our unconventional choice of wedding date yielded an atmosphere akin to a weekend party!

The dance floor remained packed, drinks flowed freely, and we reveled in the joy of sharing this unforgettable experience with loved ones – a testament to the fact that Mondays can indeed be made merry.

Embracing the unscripted nature of life, I discovered that regardless of what unfolds, every day has the potential to be remarkable. As someone who naturally gravitates towards control, surrendering to the unknown was a significant mindset shift. Nevertheless, I had to adapt and focus on the bigger picture – the fact that the day will indeed unfold as it should. To put this philosophy into practice, my partner Erin & Tara captured every magical moment behind the lens of their cameras.

Our ceremony took place at St Georges Orthodox Church in Thornbury, while The Grand Hyatt Melbourne served as the backdrop for our reception. With C2 Films’ Marcus and Styled By Valentina expertly handling cinematography and wedding planning respectively, we knew that every detail would be meticulously cared for. Zaffet Royale, Volume Entertainment, and main singer Ahmad Abou Eid kept the party going with their infectious energy.

J’Aton Couture designed my stunning bridal gown, which I paired with Amina Muaddi’s sleek shoes. Valentino provided an elegant alternative, while Dior added a touch of sophistication to my overall look. Janai Jewellery crafted my exquisite engagement rings, and my bridesmaids looked radiant in Bec & Bridge gowns. The Bespoke Corner tailored my groom’s suit to perfection, and Nikos Cakes brought the sweetest treats to life.

Danger & Moon designed our custom invitations, while Flowers By Brett Matthew John created breathtaking arrangements that filled every corner of our celebration. Polished Style by Justine worked her magic on my locks, and Vanessa NG ensured I looked radiant with her makeup artistry skills. Together, we celebrated a day that will forever be etched in our memories.
