Where did the name Capture Queen come from?
With a perpetual smile and a camera always at the ready, it’s no surprise that I’ve found a harmonious balance between capturing life’s precious moments and celebrating the joy of wedding celebrations. The intersection of my passion for photography and my enthusiasm for love stories has resulted in a beautiful equation – one that allows me to preserve cherished memories while being part of unforgettable experiences.
Why did you decide to capture weddings?
With a passion for romance and beauty, I’ve always been drawn to the joyous union of two people in love. For me, weddings represent the perfect blend of aesthetics and emotions, as they bring together not only the happy couple but also their friends, family, and loved ones.
What’s your favourite moment to capture?
The anticipation builds as the bride slips into her dress, a vision of beauty and elegance. Meanwhile, the groom’s emotions reach new heights as his bride-to-be makes her way down the aisle, her radiant smile captivating him for the first time since they exchanged their vows. The air is electric with excitement as these two beloved souls finally behold each other in all their glory.
What style of photos & films do you create?
As a self-proclaimed hopeless romantic and aficionado of high-end fashion, my cinematic tastes are deeply rooted in the world of luxury and love. Timeless classics like The Holiday, Notting Hill, Sex & The City, and Father of the Bride never fail to captivate me, transporting me to a realm where style, sophistication, and romance reign supreme.

What’s your approach to capture on the day?
As I reflect on my work as a wedding filmmaker, I’m reminded of the kind words shared by one of my valued couples, Tammi. She highlighted my exceptional emotional intelligence, ability to guide and direct others, as well as my skill in capturing life’s moments through filming, photography, and editing. What struck me most, however, was her emphasis on my warmth and capacity to make each couple feel truly special.
My approach to wedding storytelling is deeply rooted in empathy and understanding the unique circumstances of each couple. I strive to be present and intuitive, knowing when to offer support and guidance in front of the camera, and when to step back and capture the natural beauty of the moment from a more observational perspective. This nuanced balance allows me to create a comfortable and liberating experience for all involved, as we work together to tell their love story.
How does being a bride help capture weddings?
Wedding planning can be a wild ride, with unpredictable weather and demanding family members testing your nerves at every turn. But as a seasoned wedding professional who’s been in the bride’s shoes herself, I’m always ready to roll up my sleeves and tackle any challenge that comes our way. Whether it’s wrangling rogue hair strands or adjusting pesky straps, you can count on me to keep everything running smoothly behind the camera.

What were you doing before weddings?
As a marketer for Red Bull Energy Drink in Austria, my professional journey spanned several years. However, an insatiable creative drive eventually prompted me to take the plunge and pursue film production at the age of 30. The past five years have been a thrilling adventure, during which I’ve had the privilege of wearing multiple hats – producing, directing, filming, photography, acting, and styling – all under one umbrella.
Interestingly, my exploration of these creative pursuits led me to discover that wedding productions offer the perfect convergence of skills, allowing me to bring together all my passions in a unique and fulfilling way.
